Early on in my CrossFit journey, PRs came easily and frequently, but now, as a Masters Athlete, they’re much rarer. Sometimes, just getting close to a PR is a victory in itself.

As I pushed through the workout, I kept telling myself, “The barbell is light, keep the pace.” To my surprise, I hit that PR.
